Deleted Member	I've downloaded and installed cars before, but I'm having trouble with an error in my GTA3 game and I need some help. I downloaded a vehicle skin : Caterham 7. I installed it by doing: Used the IMG tool to add and rename the .dff and .txd files, that came with the skin, to the gta3.img and .txd archives. Then i replaced the handling.CFG lines with the lines provided. Then I replace the default.ide lines witht the lines provided. The car that is supposed to be replaced with the caterham is the mana. But when i get close to a mana in the game, the game has an error and makes me quit! I followed the directions on the gouranga page for installing new cars, since there was no installation instructions in the readme, but it still doesn't work! Can anyone help me out? ps: I have the TXD tool, do I need to use it? If so, do you know what to do? Attached Zip Archive: caterham 7.zip (456.52kB) This type of file could harm your computer. Make sure there are no additional empty lines in those files. b) you said you're running GTA3...for GTA3 cars, you have to put the .dff file into GTA3.IMG and the .txd into TXD.IMG, whereas for VC you have to put both of them into GTA3.IMG. Make sure you haven't confused that. ------------------ Short gigs are like bad sex!

Actually, I think this should go into help board, but anyway:
Some possible reasons for your problem:
a) you accidentally inserted an empty line to handling.cfg, default.ide or carcols.dat, GTA3 and Vice City hate that. Make sure there are no additional empty lines in those files.
b) you said you're running GTA3...for GTA3 cars, you have to put the .dff file into GTA3.IMG and the .txd into TXD.IMG, whereas for VC you have to put both of them into GTA3.IMG. Make sure you haven't confused that.
