Maindrian Delightful hobo! Joined: Feb '03 Posts: 2,517 Type: Moderator	LARGE PICTURES, HOORAH. These pictures are a few weeks old, so I shall fill in any blanks. I'd have taken some of the DVD collection, but it's spread throughout one cupboard and two storage cases and that's a lot of DVD's. It'd take the best part of a day to organise. My games. Had to recently replace the missing copy of Hitman: Contracts. Pisser. The infamous console/computer graveyard. The boxed Spectrum 128k still smells new. My little games nirvana. Desk has a nice layer of cup rings and cigarette ash. Comforting. Couple of sections of the collage/fire hazard behind my gaming desk. Everything on there from cinema/concert tickets, treasured trinkets and just plain random internet shit. Comic collection. Recently added The Spectre, Batman: City of Crime and The Joker's Last Laugh. A bit of wall, a bass guitar, my wallet and some books. Note the Cobi bricks box, a jeep, still unopened. Azz sent me that. Post your games and other such related/unrelated nerdy collections. ------------------ WORST. VIDEOGAME. EVER.

Something i do actually collect here, WW2 history bits. Some more books here, and a Beefcake the Mighty figure. Crap photo of some of my musical instrummys. There we go, shit stuff, shit room. Lobster Martin hi Joined: Feb '03	Yeah Adam's carpet is pretty shocking... it actually looks remarkably like the carpet I had in one of my student houses. Although I repeatedly hoovered the fuck out of mine. And put a huge rug over it so that it didn't look quite so terrible.

Lobster Martin hi Joined: Feb '03	Due to the nature of me being a git, I don't have a games collection worth showing off. I have what, 3 ps3 games, and probably about 10 ps2 games. I don't know why I buy so few console games, probably because there aren't enough good ones for me to spend the money, and all the rest I just steal on PC. Admittedly, that makes little sense considering how much the console costs me. But oh well. I still will get good use out of them (plus friends can bring games round, or hopefully I'll move in with more mates soon who have games, etc). So yeah, instead Ill just show pictures of my room. Comments for each photo ABOVE the photo, unlike some other crazies. It's a mess, because I'm moving out in a couple of weeks, and at this stage there is little point in tidying it (in fact it got messy when I moved some of it already). It's normally picturesque and tidy. My room as you walk in the door, you are blinded by a mass of computers. I currently have olives on my desk, this is a temporary situation. Looking to the left slightly, you can see it's a mess. Shot of the second desk. This housed my old pc connected to the CRT on the right. That comptuer has gone but my mates pc is there instead, along with his flatscreen on the desk. My ps3 is on the desk, my mates ps3 behind the monitor - pretty cool playing GTA4 side by side. There's my computer, at which I spend a pathetic amount of time. I do have a life, honest. It just has to wait sometimes. Two monitors, because it helps me with my work, a 21" CRT that I'm going to dump in a few weeks (life is too short to carry 35kg monitors around), and a 22" flatty (Dan your pictures are on the screen hah). Incidentally, the other CRT is also going in the bin. "As you can see" (tm) I have a pretty good sound system (considering it cost me next to nothing), Cambridge audio amp driving all that shit for my pc and ps3. Desk is a disastrous mess, it's covered with SHIT. French doors behind the curtains (ground floor). Sofa and bed, I'm also dumping the sofa when I leave, which sucks as its in good condition and shit. Bed is quite big, a queen or so? Never understood bed sizes, big enough for two, although sadly I have it all to myself. Shall miss this bed when I leave. Just to complete the layout of my room, there's the door on the left, and on the right is a cupboard under the stairs where I put large junk. That broken mirror is just dumped on top, as I have no other mirror and it's sometimes useful to repair any damage I do to my face. Yet another computer, I bought this laptop earlier in the summer. On screen you can see the shit im working on to finish my masters, although it doesn't show you much. It's face detection and recognition software. I figure this has absorbed too much of my life lately to not get a mention.

Lobster Martin hi Joined: Feb '03	Quality photo. I'm also an arachnophobe. It's fucking lame but there's literally nothing I can do about it. I think it helps to keep your room clean and tidy, and you won't get loads of spiders everywhere. If you keep tons of shit on the floor, they'll all live amongst your shit on the floor. If everything is tidy, they've got nowhere to creep and crawl.
