It's true though, I've tried playing GTA4 at other people's houses since John left, but it's ZERO fun with anybody else. When I'm playing with John, we're just giggling like idiots for eight hours straight, but with anybody else, it's just sitting around being bored and annoyed.

Nobody else understands the simple joy of ramming things in the Cavalcade, or heroing into oncoming traffic on a motorcycle for ragdoll lulz, or ruining people's shit in the Ruiner.

And goddamn, is the kid narrating these videos stupid. He sounds like the main character in Tokyo Drift.

That said, I think here, it does apply. Let's tick off the horrors.

Low tech camera pointed at TV? Poor vocal skills? Have to spend twenty seconds trying to pronounce or remember even slightly complicated words? Have absolutely nothing to show the world that they couldn't already figure out by simply playing the game?

That kid is indeed a failure.

Still makes me want to play that game. Need to hurry up and finish this stupid project.

And Maindrian you need to hurry up and buy a ps3. We need a gouranga gaming session, even if there are only two of us with ps3 versions.

lolololol i have the ps3 version.

i won't ever leave Sony, the xbox is for fags and i just can't appreciate the wii for anything more than drunken party games.

This is true, but at the moment, I'm waiting for word on Hitman 5. Over the course of the last few weeks, I've been doing the last three games on hard mode, getting Silent Assassin, feeling like a fucking genius with every level properly completed. I'm so in the mood for more, I'm installing the first game onto my PC, if I can get it running. If not, it's going on my brothers PC and his ass is getting ousted from that seat for a week.

That's how I've been kicking it for the last six months, goin' back, revisiting old classics, blah blah blah. The demo on Hitman: Blood Money reminded me how awesome Urban Chaos: Riot Response is, so I'm going back to that soon to completely ace that as well. Then, I shall simply stare at all the save files for these games and feel smug.

Also, I'm not into the whole X-box vs. PS3 console wars bollocks. They both have merit, I'd ideally have both, but am going with the PS3 purely for MGS4, because goddamn, I've stuck with that series long enough, I want to see it end. If it is the end and not just the usual blueballs fakeout of course.

Oh, yeah, alright, I've always had an irrational loathing for Nintendo, but seriously, compared to either the PS3 or the 360, the Wii looks like a Fisher Price toy.

Ok DiscoJon, fuck the timezones, you'll have to get in on some GTA4 at some point as well.

Adam, hitman 5, I know. The 2 year development cycle has been killed. Blood Money has been out over 2 years now... although it doesn't feel like that.

I eagerly await hitman 5 too. Infact, even though I looked it up recently, you made me look it up again, and there's some news, woo!

I don't believe the game will be out in December. If it was, we surely would have a website, an official name for the game, and some media by now.

Online gameplay is interesting, although unless it's some amazing cooperative game with cool missions and shit, it's not really in the nature of hitman. Hitman was always a single-player stealth action motherfucker, so not sure what the point of multiplayer will be.

There we are then, Hitman 5, not on PS2, must upgrade before then. In the meantime, like Touge, I can still enjoy Yakuza 2.

That said, I don't like the idea of every game having to be a multiplayer bonanza these days.

Yeah, one of the things with hitman that you never really thought was "this needs multiplayer".

A coop multiplayer, sure, but that's just singleplayer with two people. You could have two agents assigned to hit multiple targets simultaneously, and you could have really elaborate missions based around this.

But still, hitman was a good game anyway, not just  "good despite having no multiplayer".
