Yes, share with me webcomics you don't think are shit! Also, a free ban for anybody who offers forth Penny Arcade, CAD or VGcats as good examples!

For me, it can only be TruckBearingKibble. The art is lovely, the jokes are clever and even at its most simplistic, it never relies on "HAR HAR, FART JOKE" or "THE CAKE IS A LIE! SPARTA!" I've only just found it this evening, but I already know it's the best thing ever.

I was not being rude, I was merely pointing out the facts. It explains the joke in the worst traditions of Tim Buckley, only rather than happening on the last panel, it pre-empts it!

Could be I'm just a bigger fan of sight gags than I am observational comedy, but there you are. I'm certainly no fan of the hackneyed "OH GOD, A LOVELY GIRL, WHAT DO I DO NOW" inner monologue. The second one you put up, I actually find that quite funny though and I might check out SMBC simply because that's my kind of sick humour.

It's like the two Delfi put up. I don't like the first one. It outstays its welcome fairly quickly and you can pretty much guess the ending 12 panels before it actually gets there, but the second one, four panels, BIM, BAM, BOOM, culminating in a simple, but excellent punchline.

Webcomics in general are very hit and miss affairs depending on your sense of humour. I was going through TBK yesterday with Knott and for every one he found amusing there were three he thought were cheap, obvious or just not funny. Likewise, for every XKCD one I found funny, there's about three I thought were flowery, senseless or just plain creepy. And who's Megan? And does she know she has a stalker?

I do not wish to come across as rude again, but could you explain this one? I mean what the hell does "sudo" mean? Unless it's meant to be "pseudo", in which case, I still don't get it.

Inky, that reminds me, I've still not finished off your little portrait. It's half done, but I've been too busy dossing about, reading books in the sunshine and shit. Oh yes, and the fuzzy hair is AWESOME.

You have to realise that explosm isn't made by 1 guy but like 4 of them, so each of them has his own style, altrough the first one is pretty long and makes a hint to the punchline at the very start, it is still a good example of explosm and it's absurd humor.
 
And about XKCD's SUDO.. it means Super User DO (it's a unix / linux / BSD thing, basically the os design won't let do some things for you until you level yourself to superuser status with your root password, then it pretty much does everything you want).

I think it's some gay linux thing for actually making or running a program or something. Basically, you don't want to know. In fact the only reason I know is because my power cables on my computer are fucked, which means if they get knocked then my harddrive suddenly loses power. Unfortunately it got corrupt once when it did this so I had to boot into some crappy linux thing, and install a program to mend it.

No, you did not want to know this, but neither did i. It's like having cerbera invite himself round for tea. I still have to keep the side of my computer off because if I put it on, the power will randomly cut out to the disk and i don't really want to be going through those joyous times again.










Nice to see I am truly loved. I could have ripped what you posted to shreds but I thought i'd try and be a bit more kind about it.

Also a round of applause for 2na jumping on the needless wagon. Even with the use of my last name too. I don't remember telling you it on here but oh it couldn't be you were just copying needles whom already knew  embarrassed cute




I would rather have no purpose than that of a smug attention whore.
