| Looks pretty tasty.
Am I being too optimistic in saying it had a slight Mafia feel to it? The sweeping shots, the classical music, the melancholoy voice over.
Lots of interesting stuff to see. "I slept with your mom", sounds like a great film. Got to admit I'm very concerned about the cheese crisis, hope it doesn't last. Poor cheddar.
They obviously seem very proud of their weather/daynight system, the sun changes position and colour in almost every shot. Very moody.
lol, Liberty Tree banner in the busy shot, "yesterday's news today". fantastic.
Everything has a real sense of scale, something that was present in a few places in SA. Wonder if they're going for high instead of wide and flat like SA?
I'm not the biggest source of knowledge on american cars, but I recognise quite a few. One in the first shot was a mustang, right? There's also that chrysler you can get over here (300C?).
If one was going to point out potential problems (moi? never), the shot of the bridge with the cable car doodad in the middle, six vehicles in shot, 4 taxi cabs, same model, 2 box trucks, same model. Let's hope they just haven't finished the rest, since that "feature" of the last three games has been a pain in the arse. You spend hours scouring the city looking for a particular model to finish your export doodad, then every fucker is driving one. bah.
That first shot looks just like a part from the second liberty city in GTA3, just below St Marks Bistro. Not sure how accurate that LC was or how closely this one will mesh? Don't really know much of New York I suppose.
Looks good though, fingers crossed the storyline is shit hot. ------------------ azz.gouranga.com est. 1998 (I am oldskoolier than joo) |
