| Now we have the new avatars feature I think we need to make it very clear what the maximum sizes for pictures should be. Avatars can be 64x64 or below, which is like this:  Signatures can be 470x70 or below, which is like this: These rules wont be strictly improsed, you are allowed to go slightly over. It is assumed you will use your own common sense when using signature and avatar images. If you have a reasonable reason for making the sizes bigger then post it below. If you want to make your signature a link then use this code: Code: [url=http://www.mysite.com][img]http://www.mysite.com/mysignature.gif[/img][/url] ; If you want to use random signature images then use this code: Code: [img]http://www.mysite.com/signature[random]1, 3[/random].gif[/img] This will select signature1.gif, signature2.gif or signature3.gif. Feel free to experiment with different random numbers. Feel free to combine the random signature pictures and urls. If you want to use random avatar images then use this code: Code: http://www.mysite.com/avatar[random]1, 3[/random].gif No image tags are required. | I don't mind if its over a bit. delfi's avatar is bigger but it wont slow the board down or get in the way so it's fine. It doesn't have to be exactly 64x64 Fordy, it can be 64x23, 18x13 or 52x64 or whatever. I didn't want to use an actual fixed size Cerbera because people use a lot of different resolutions and I want it to look normal on all of them. If the title is longer it just wraps round anyway which is fine. If your under one of the limits then feel free to go over the other one. So delfi's other signature was well under the 470 width so he is welcome to go over the height limit. Basically what I'm saying is if it doesn't look like it will take up too much space, slow the board down or get annoying after the millionth time you have seen it: use it! ------------------ |

| Agreed, animated images on forums are very very very annoying. So none of that please! Fordy, you can't even make your normal avatar/signature appear so I don't think that will be an issue :P ------------------ |
