It takes place 3 years after gta-3 did. we need: *one or two skinners (we already have one) **a modder ***one modeler ****textureizer *****one for web design ******an idea man (one already) *******maybe other people requirements: well none really. we got one skin. here it is. | I'm going to offer some advice, because this topic is clearly going nowhere. There's no useful or informative details about the project. What are your aims? What makes it new and exciting? Why is it awesome? Why would people want to play it? All you say is that it's for 'Gta-3' and will be set 3 years after. Why that game and why 3 years after? There must be a reason so tell us. Telling people details via PM is pointless. When you go to a supermarket the tins have labels on telling you what they are, you don't buy blank tins and then potentially end up with a meal of dog food. What I'm saying is that you can't tell if your interested in something if you know nothing about it. The project looks like a waste of time that will never get finished. A total conversion is a massive undertaking, people have started out much better than you and got nowhere. You appear to be starting this project with an ill-conceived plan and some guy with a moustache. You haven't even bothered using capital letters or spell checking your post, so I can only expect the quality of the mod will be the same. I've probably put more thought into this post than you did with yours. You mention the GTA Forums all over the place so you instantly lose a point in reputation. If there's more information over there why not link to it at least? The current team consists of you, some guy who is banned and a guy called "angrymule", it's not exactly promising or inviting. The requirements are "none really" which shows you're so desperate to recruit that you'll accept anyone. That's not how you make a team of enthusiastic and capable people. From your list of requirements my cat could get in. If you want to get people to work with you, put the time in yourself first and commit properly to it. If people see the mod progressing and looking promising they will be interested, you'll get some awareness and people will want to join you before you need to ask them. Then your on the way to creating a successful mod. ------------------  |

| When being offered advice, there are two types of people. First, those who listen carefully, learn from what's being said and use that information to improve the situation. Second, ignorant people who think they're better than everyone else, prefer to make an enemy than a friend and will achieve nothing because they don't realise that humans can gain knowledge from each other. Hopefully when you're a bit more mature you'll move into the first category. You're right not to let my cat in though, he died a few months ago and would probably smell quite a bit. ------------------ |
