Description blurb: (copypasted from the readme)

It's a cold, utilitarian slab of metal. Solid. Reliable. Stylish.
Pre-war German engineering at it's best. Designed to get despots and people with too much money where they need to be. Forget bomb shelters, when they drop the nuke you'll be better off in this car.

Comes with optional extras like gullwing doors and sunroof, and all the luxury you'll ever need.

The Streicher isn't really modeled after any existing car, I just tried to make a limousine that would fit into the retro / film noir style of GTA2. The name and background came later on, as the look of the car seemed very German to me. I could see Mercedes releasing something like this at some point.

At first I meant only to release this car as a limousine, but after some editing and downsizing I managed to squeeze it into the space used by the Jagular XK. (They indeed look somewhat similiar, which is completely coincidential.)

I added the pimped version with gullwing doors just for fun, for the people who want just that little bit extra. (If you just want gullwing doors without the sunroof and spoiler, first install the pimped version, then import [Car 28.bmp]. Easy as pie.)

I just had to include the Aphex Twin version. Looks best in white.

As usual, it remaps in any color you want, so anyone who wishes to ride this baby in hot pink or lime green is free to do so.

So, well, yeah... download it and install it, folks. Pretty please? Also, some constructive feedback would be nice.

I've reviewed it. In a rather naff fanboy way, obviously, but I do genuinely like your cars that much. I've never quite been able to get them looking quite so good as you can.

Nice. As everyone knows (at least those who've read my site even once in the past five years or so), I'm not a huge fan of the GTA2 shading style. However you do nail it every time. I love the way the top down style means you can give bonnets ridges and stuff that are nigh on impossible to do with a side light style, and you take advantage of that beautifully.

The small version especially does it for me. If I had GTA2 installed, I'd certainly put it in my game.

Can I be a wanker? Can I bitch? (bitching after getting 82% is pretty much useless anyway, but still :P)

After spending quite a lot of time on extra versions, crash damage deltas and so on, they seem not to have any effect on the score? (When compared to, say, Meklo's PA Cortez GTS, which seems to be somewhat lacking in the extra's department)

(And please take all this bitching with several grains of salt. I don't wish to have my grade reconsidered or anything like that, I'd just like to have some insight on the how and why.)

Azz; I think I'd still have to give sidelight style another shot. After tumbling into the GTA editing business this late (I only got into it after the release of GTA2) it's kind of a phase I've skipped. Gotta make up for that.

I gave Meklo's motor what, an extra 1 percent? To be honest, I think this was because I hadn't seen a GTA2 car of any decent quality for so long, I went a bit over the top. And yeah, I forgot to add the extra versions to the score which doesn't make a lot of sense. I shall rectify. rolleyes

By the way, don't think I'll be as easy a pushover next time. I rarely go over 83 percent. I don't know if thats too harsh or not.

JJHW, if you missed it, check this GIF

(Sadly, the number of windows (I thought there were 34?) does not match up, but I had to keep the GIF size manageable.)

Edit: I recounted... 38 on each side.
