| Pyro GTA2 Scripter & Mapper
| Completed the game a few weeks ago and I tried to save the SWAT armoured tank in the Johnson House garage during the mission (after you break through the wall). When I completed it, it just dissapeared  Is this just a one off vehicle, or can it be found elsewhere in San Andreas? | Heres a little observation I found, its on the car called the"Hustler". Its a little 30's style car, found mainly on the Las Venturas strip. On the right hand side back wheel is two odd looking 'pipes', they are inside the wheel so you might need to put different rims on to see it better. I put on the "twist" ones and added hydraulics too. Then I bounced the car from side to side and watched the right hand side. The little pipes are clearly visible when doing this. Hopefully the techy people will be able to solve why its there, left over pollies or something. ------------------  |

| Anybody notice the new arrangement of the ice creams on top of the Mr. Whoopee truck?  They're different from before...An 'elegy' (at least according to the online Websters) is a poem or song written for the dead. In this case, the Elegy is a R-3X Skyline which the R* people may consider "dead." This is true simply because the first legal Skyline that Nissan released here isn't really a Skyline.  One of the paintjobs for the Sultan (Subaru Impreza) is based on the famous 555 design of early Colin McRae fame. ------------------ |

The 1984 Olympic Games were held in Los Angeles. As for the SWAT Tank, park it in your garage BEFORE you crash through the wall and blow it up with C4. You'll fail the mission but it'll be parked where you want it. And there's a map containing eight yellow dots plunked down on several spots in San Andreas on the inside of Toreno's cabin and the back room of the Li'l Probe Inn. One of them's on the military base where the Hydras are, no surprise there. Another's on the Big Ear, under which the Sandking is parked (just in case you're looking for it). Finally... There's a farmhouse in the Panopticon, as well as a trailer park across the street from the Probe Inn where several messed-up Glendales are parked. "messed-up" as in you can't repair the visual damage at a Pay 'n Spray. Hmm... ------------------ |

| Deleted Member | Vanishing cars in garages... Ok, heres the deal on how to (mostly) prevent your cars from vanishing. In the starting safe house, and most other smaller safe houses.. only put one vehicle in the garage. I know the door opens for two, and you can squeeze two in there, but dont do it. Dont even put a bike or motorcycle in next to your car, just one car. In the San Fiero chop-shop garage, the door opens for three or four cars, but dont put any more than two cars in there.. it seems you can get away with one car and two bikes though, and MAYBE two cars and one bike but.. I havent tested that combination yet so.. use caution. Paint jobs! DONT get custom paint jobs, the ones with the graphics and such, the game seems to have a very hard time loading them, this can cause cars to vanish and is what causes the 'garage wont open' bug.. the door gets stuck because the game is still trying to load the paint job.. (because cars dont stay in the garage.. it 'erases' them when the door closes and 'spawns' them just before it opens...) sometimes your paint job will go away leaving the car plain white, or the car will vanish all together.. so stick with stock paint jobs and it should be ok! Observation in Yay Ka-Boom-Boom mission.. This has nothing to do with the vanishing cars, Im just editing to save posts.. In the mission Yay Ka-Boom-Boom, when you get the Tampa thats rigged with a bomb.. if you look closely at the license plates, you might notice that they say 'TIMEBOMB'  Normal Tampa cars dont have this plate, only the one in this mission. |
