You can get an UZI from ammunation, by finding one or by collecting twenty packages. GTA3 says it cant find the CD, what do I do? Errr, insert the CD. If your using the warez version or advertise it, you are not welcome here! Whats the bast car? The very sexy Perenniel. All the real professionals drive it. Honest. How do I play my Britney Spears music in the game? Place your mp3 files in your "mp3" directory and select the last radio station after Chatterbox. How do I get to the other islands? Complete the missions. Seriously, it'll ruin the game for you if you cheat and you wont be able to do any missions if you skip islands. How do I find out my wanted level? The number of stars indicates your wanted level, more stars means more trouble for you. You can collect tokens around the maps that will lower the level. If you play it calm with just one star the police will leave you alone. Does the game work on XP? Is Ricci the sexiest woman ever? from the "now we will learn rocket science" department What do the hidden packages do? They give you weapons, as follows: • 10: Pistol • 20: Uzi • 30: Grenades • 40: Shotgun • 50: Armour • 60: Molotov cocktail • 70: AK-47 • 80: Sniper Rifle • 90: M16 • 100: Rocket Launcher How can I make GTA3 run faster/better? There are lots of things you can do, such as: 1. Install the V1.1 patch. 2. Copy the audio directory from the CD into the GTA3 directory. 3. Lower the resolution. 4. Update your video drivers. 5. Turn off background apps like firewalls/virus scanners. 6. Turn off trails in the options menu. 7. Reduce the draw distance. Only tiny change, so not really worth it. 8. Visit the GTA3 Optimisation site. How do I get out of a boat without dying? Right, well, two options here. First of all you can drive your boat up onto the land if you find a beach or something like that and the just get out. Alternatively you can press ENTER to stop controlling the boat, spin round to face the thing you want to jump onto and then press SPACE to jump, remember to cross your fingers. How does the replay function work? On the PC version you can record the last 30ish seconds. Press F1 to show the last 30 seconds, F2 to show the last saved replay and F3 to save the last 30ish seconds to a "replay.rep" file in your My Documents folder. You can distribute this file to other players. from the "my goldfish ate my dog" department Who is this Darkel fella? Darkel was invented so that people could post spam on forums and ask really stupid questions to annoy the administrators. Take the CD back to the place you got it and tell them about your cat in detail, they will give you another CD in sympathy and then laugh at you as you leave. In the _really_ unlikely situation that you downloaded the warez version, you are not welcome here! How do I use the mouse controlled steering? Don't, its impossible! Stick to your normal controls  I want to get involved in piracy, how do I do this? We all do, just get yourself a peg leg and a talking parrot and you'll be well on the way. from the "it worked when i did it" department How do I stop the blocks in Windows XP? Download this m$ update. I downloaded that stupid MultiEdit program and it ruined by game! Try restoring the backup files that are included. MultiEdit provides backups for all the files it can edit, so you wont run into any problems. from the "united states of whatever" department How do I get the Borgnine Taxi? Complete 100 taxi missions (doesnt have to be in a row). The Borgnine Taxi will then be unlocked, if you cant find it, look at these directions. How do I get the flamethrower? Two ways. If you do the vigilante mode, sometimes the criminals will have the weapon for you to pick up. The other way is to complete 20 fire truck missions on each island. Whats this BF Injection? Its a secret car that appears outside Misty's apartment after you unlock about half of the game. Visit the Diablo park area in Portland around midnight and the BF Injection should be there. Where can I find the Ice Cream truck? The Mr Whoopee isnt at a specific location. However, there are four ways to find it. 1: Complete a lot of the game and drive round ShoreSide. 2: Do the Diablo's missions on Portland. 3: Do the fire truck missions, it should appear after a few times. 4: Get MultiEdit and use the option to increase the frequency of the Mr Whoopee icecream truck. (PC users only.) How do I make the Mafia (or some other gang) like me? Download MultiEdit and use the option to make gangs scared off you. Alternatively, you could use the BP Patriot you are given or lots of armour and some heavy weaponry. Whats the Mafia Rumpo? The mission can be found in the second mission on Staunton called 'Under Surveillance'. There are groups are Mafia thats you need to kill, some of them are hiding in a Mafia Rumpo. Make them get out of the vehicle by walking near it and shooting it a bit, then steal it and run them over. Store the vehicle in your garage and fail the mission or complete the rest of the mission using it. Where are all the boats? There are no boats on the Portland. You will be able to steal them when you get to the second island. The game wont load, what do I do? If you have no idea how to fix the problem, the best option is to re-install. Dont worry, you wont lose your saved games. from the "tip off the iceberg" department How do I complete 'Turismo'? Its not that difficult, you can complete it easily in something like Taxi. The best option is to drive over to the Portland car garage on the outside of the Mafia territory near the petrol station. You can then steal the Banshee which will give you a good avantage. Drive steadily and not dangerously unless you are failing behind. Lots of practice is the best option, there are more driving missions later so your going to have to be a good driver by the end. Finally, aim to do this mission before Portland is complete. How do I complete the last mission? My method was to steal a tank off the military and store it in the ShoreSide garage. After doing the mansion, drive down and steal it. Grab a few weapons and go towards the second part with the tank. You should have no problem getting to the raised part, jump out and climb up, the rest is simple after that. Just remember to watch what other people are doing. How do I complete the second part of the 'Bomb Da Base' mission? You should have a sniper gun, drive 8ball over and then look around for some steps leading up the side of a building (they are on the opposite side to where 8ball waits). Climb up them and onto the roof, get as near to the ship (but still on the roof) as possible and then started killing columbians as quick as possible. How do I complete 'Kingdom Come'? My favourite mission The trick is to take it slowly and not charge around like a, well, a spanked up mad man! Stock up on weapons before so you wont have to get them while your halfway through the mission. Get lots of bombs and long range weapons. The enemies will venture out of the car park so be aware.from the "your absolutely useless" department Where can I find info about the GTA games? Here are a few of the best of the GTA sites around. You should be able to find everything you want from these. 1. GOURANGA! 2. GTAzz 3. GTA Scraper 4. GTA Center 5. GTA Network 6. Codename GTA3 Where can I download the V1.1 patch from? | Well I could give a million reasons but I'll tell you a little story instead...gather round and listen to uncle ICEY... Lets say your watching the TV and Dark Angel is on with (the good enough to eat (off)) Jessica Alba. Now lets say your driving around in some stupidly fast car like a Banshee, Jessica comes on the screen with her motorbike, you lose control and *bang* your straight into a tree, swerving round and *splash* into the water and dead. Now imagine the same scene but with a sexy Perenniel, Jessica comes on the screen, you are suitably drowned with drool, you turn back to your screen and your Perenniel is just a few meters in front, where you then proceed to casually drive along the road... ------------------ |

| The Mafia Sentinel is definately the best car in the game. It can't compete with the Cheetah on the dragstrip, but peeling around 90-degree corners in heavy traffic yes. It's got all the luxury of a Sentinel, holds twice as many people as the sportier cars, and it has the "skirt" to make it look lower and of course the wing and tinted windows. Plus, it's got the extra durability of a gang car. With the Mafia Sentinel, you can drive sanely enough to wach Jessica, and still be able to hold your own in a street race. Finally, you'll never see one in yellow. My favorite non-gang car is probably the Infernus or the Kuruma, which would be the best four-door if it weren't for the fact that the Mafia Sentinel can take a lot more bullets before catching on fire. ------------------  Azz wrote: Oh.. yeah, guns bad, ice cream good, the end. |

| Well, for going reverse, spinning the car in a 180 motion and stomping on the gas to go just the opposite way in about a split second makes the TAXI great for quick getaways!!! (I think another car could do this but I don't remember  ) |
